I had thought about bringing my 12-year old daughter Sara, who is the absolute jewel of my life and who with my 9-year old son Matthew are my greatest achievements but couldn't work out the logistics as she flys off to the islands with Mom and brother on the 9th (which just happens to be my b'day). Sara, who aspires to be an actress, has always wanted to visit NYC. Too bad, it would have given her a chance to see that Dad wasn't always a stuffed shirt.
